Institutional Memory

About the Manifest.

A living record of Culture Pilot’s (opens in a new tab) history, work, people and relationships. Created in 2026, it documents more than two decades of accumulated experience dating to the firm’s founding in 2003.

Part archive, part wiki, and part structured dataset, the Manifest is intended to preserve the institutional history that connects clients, projects, people, capabilities, industries, locations, partners and entities which have intersected with Culture Pilot over time.

01

Sources & Provenance

The Manifest is maintained by Culture Pilot and should be understood as a first-party historical archive.

At launch, an estimated 80% of the underlying information originates from Culture Pilot’s historic records and institutional knowledge, including accounting, project files, printed materials, publications, and firsthand recollection. Approximately 20% has been sourced or corroborated through publicly available information. Community submissions are now open.

These proportions are estimates and will change as the Manifest develops. Whenever practical, historical information is compared against surviving documentation and independent sources.

02

Accuracy & Corrections

As a living record, The Manifest is designed to become more accurate and complete over time. Names, dates, locations, relationships and other factual information are reviewed as the archive develops.

Corrections and Community Engagement are part of the Manifest. To provide additional content, references, or to report incorrect or missing information, please head to the community submissions page.
